Bulk Delivery Systems

Newfoundland Hard-Rok Inc. has two main means of delivering bulk explosives. The first method of delivering bulk explosives is through our bulk Repump Trucks. These trucks are equipped to pump emulsion, or a blend of emulsion and ammonium nitrate prills. The trucks are also the process mechanism for gassing the Titan matrix. The variable gassing process allows the blaster to alter the loading density of the product to match the specific blasting application or desires of the client.

The second method of bulk delivery which is also through our bulk repump trucks is with our newest technology of homogenized emulsion explosives. This technology has been widely accepted across North America and has been met with great success in the Newfoundland and Labrador market. It involves the thickening, or homogenization, of the Titan 1000 G matrix after it has been sensitized through the gassing process. This new process eliminates the mixing of the Titan matrix with ammonium nitrate prills. The thickened product prevents the emulsion from seeping out into cracks and allows for easier cleanup of spills.

In both cases the product is conveniently pumped directly into the blast hole reducing labour costs and increase production capabilities.
